This year at NAHU’s Annual Convention along with the help of the Vanguard Council, we will be raising funds for and supporting Children’s Dream Racer (CDR). The mission at CDR is to place Dream Racers in children’s hospitals and cancer care centers worldwide to help children get through any difficult treatment that they must endure.
A Dream Racer is a child-sized version of a real NASCAR race car. Built by retired NASCAR car builder and founder of CDR Mark “Smitty” Smith these cars are made with the same materials used to make real NASCAR race cars. All Dream Racers include a flat panel TV, CD/DVD player, Play Station®, IV stand, oxygen bottle holder, easy roll coasters with brake and a storage trunk. Built in SMILES are also standard equipment!
You can donate during the registration process, or on-site by visiting the Dream Racer car inside the exhibit hall or talking to a member of the Vanguard Council.
